Corporate Social Responsibility
What with globalization issues, the debate on corporate governance, the ecological consequences of entrepreneurial activity, climate change, not to mention societal commitment and commitment to the company’s employees, corporate responsibility is a decisive indicator of the future for companies. Communication of responsibility activity by companies must be transparent and must take stakeholders’ interests into account. It will then count toward the company’s reputation and can reduce risks.
The relevance of corporate responsibility is on the increase, and not only in respect of customers, employees, critical consumers, or societal groups. Responsible activity by companies with regard to society and the environment is also playing a larger and larger role in financial markets. Sustainable economic management performance is increasingly subjected to critical analysis because responsible activity makes a contribution toward crisis prevention and long-term entrepreneurial success. Corporate responsibility is thereby on its way to becoming a key area of communication.
